My name is Glen Mistretta. In 2000, I purchased a 135 year old home in Melrose, Massachusetts and restored what was great about the house, and made improvements where modern technology and materials allowed. With my fine eye for detail and a background in graphic design; I followed my passion since childhood and specialize in restoring and renovating old homes and building 'new' old homes throughout the north shore of Massachusetts.

At Mistretta Contracting, our goal is to create beautiful spaces. A few examples of the work we do include distinctive kitchens and bathrooms, master suites, additions, and occasionally exterior restorations. We love to transform a space with fine carpentry like door and window trim, wainscoting, coffered ceilings and built-in cabinetry.

The difference with partnering with Mistretta Contracting is our comprehensive approach. We take each project personally and are on site from design to finish - even choosing fixtures, hardware, and color palette if needed
